Tao Philippines – by Eddie Agamos Brock

Ten years on, a journey that started as a small enterprise boat adventure to the remote islands of Palawan, is now a business with a capacity for inclusive growth, and creating a micro-economy in a 200 km stretch of island communities. Developing skills for stable livelihoods, providing a platform for education, health and food security, Tao is a unique tourism venture adapting indigenous knowledge and offering an experience of raw nature and immersion in the island cultures. This is the story of skilled young islanders learning the skills to create a Neverland in Palawan, building native boats, playful basecamps, bamboo buildings and permaculture farms.
